About Course

This training will equip mentors to facilitate groups with their mentees. Mentors will understand the group dynamic in small to moderate size groups of 2 to 10, and how to implement the On Track Curriculum successfully.

What Will You Learn?

  • Participants learn the key elements of a successful group
  • Learn how to prepare to host a group while leading "from behind."
  • Understand how to use the curriculum effectively

Course Content

The Group Dynamic Pt. 1
In Group Dynamic Pt. 1, we discuss the reason for, and the power of a successful group process. We also look at the various aspects that characterize a healthy group.

We will discuss the facilitator's preparation and the techniques of a successful group leader.

Using the Curriculum
We familiarize ourselves with the "On Track" Curriculum. We also discuss how to introduce and help group participants, process the information.
